General

Our address is Utrechtsedwarsstraat 13-2, 1017WB Amsterdam.

Studio 13 is located on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs. You can ring the bell and our floor team will be happy to let you in!

The studio is only open by appointment/booking between 09:00 and 17:00. If you prefer different hours, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You can visit us by appointment only. Feel free to call us to schedule a studio visit.

We have a loading/unloading area in front of our building. If you wish to use this, our floor team will move the parking bollards. Please note this is not a car park.

No, there is no lift in our building. We do have an equipment winch (hoist lift) for that can carry up to 300 kg.

Unfortunately, Studio 13 is not wheelchair accessible.

We do not have our own parking spaces available at the studio. Paid parking spaces can be found within walking distance in the streets around Studio 13.

We have a fast Wi-Fi network (1000mb/s). Feel free to ask our floor team for the passwords.

Each studio is equipped with a table with 6 chairs, a large mirror and a make-up area. We have a large selection of furniture that you can use and move free of charge, without having to make a reservation. You can view them in our furniture catalogue.

Equipment is not included in the hire price of the studio spaces. We have the following equipment for hire: Profoto D2 flash set, Hensel 1200 HMI Fresnel and Tungsten Lights. Feel free to call us to enquire about prices.

We have a wide range of colours for paper backgrounds that you can hire. We also have bleached and unbleached linen available on request. Please call us to enquire about colours and prices.

We have a kitchen and fridge that can be used by our customers. This is a shared space, so be considerate of other customers. Please let us know in advance if you require the kitchen exclusively during your booking so we can advise you on the booking options.

Please contact us if you plan to hang anything on our walls. You are not permitted to attach nails, screws or tape to our walls without prior consultation.

Please provide us with billing information and contact information such as a phone number to ensure a smooth booking process.

Our studios are only available for 4 or 8-hour timeslots.

Half a day – 4 hours: 09:00-13:00 or 13:00-17:00.

Full day – 8 hours: 09:00-17:00.

Please contact us in advance for overtime or bookings after 18:00.

We only offer 4 or 8-hour time slots. You can use fewer hours, but the price is always based on a half-day or full-day booking.

We are happy to schedule options for you. First come, first served. In the event of another booking request, we will contact you for confirmation. Please note that if you have not pre-confirmed (booked) your options, the spaces are not reserved/guaranteed for you.

Call or email us if you want to cancel or reschedule your booking. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 72 hours before your booking. Within 48 hours, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged. Within 24 hours, the full price of the booking will be charged.

You will receive an invoice by email after the booking is completed.

If you need specific (company) details and addressee on the invoice, please let us know prior to your booking.

We offer special prices for student/portfolio work. Feel free to call us for more information.

Currently, we are not open to collaborations or exchange deals.

In our daylight studios, it always looks like summer thanks to the large windows. When in doubt, it is your responsibility to bring your own lamps or to hire lamps.

In general, no, you cannot. Make sure your plans fit into your scheduled time slots. However, we can offer some flexibility before 09:00 and after 17:00 if you let us know in advance. Feel free to call us for more information.

If you need more time, you can extend your booking based on availability at an additional cost of €100, exclusive of VAT per hour.

Every studio has a make-up table. Please note that this space is only available within the timeslot of your booking.

Yes, a floor manager is always on hand to assist with equipment, catering and to answer any questions you may have during your booking. Please note that our floor team does not lead or assist during your shoot. You are responsible for your own production.

In our individual studios, you can work comfortably with up to 12 people. If you wish to work with a larger team, please let us know.

Please contact us prior to booking if you wish to store equipment or props before or after your booked time slots.

Food and drinks are not included. During your booking, you can book unlimited tea + coffee at an additional cost. Soft drinks and snacks can also be purchased. If you would like us to arrange the catering, our floor manager will be happy to arrange this for you. Please contact us for information about breakfast options. All additional costs for food and drinks will be added to your invoice at a VAT rate of 9%. You are of course also welcome to bring your own drinks or use other delivery services such as Uber Eats.

The equipment Studio 13 uses has the necessary certificates and is regularly checked to remain certified. Our team members are covered by insurance and trained to work safely at Studio 13. However, the customer bears the responsibility and liability for the booking.
